I can't even put into words how amazing Ben Folds was. Even if I could you probably wouldn't care. But I've just never been so impressed/ happy ever. The show was a billion times better than I expected. HE FUCKING PLAYED PHILOSOPHY. and Where's Summer B.?, Army, Rockin' the Suburbs, Brick, One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces, Narcolepsy, Not the Same, Zak and Sara, Landed, and so much morelaksndlaksnd. And we were SO CLOSE. We started out being about 3 people away from the stage and got closer as the night went on. I can't believe I'm still alive after all that screaming/jumping/dancing/ EXCITEMENT. He played so many songs. Even if he had only played Philosophy, it would've made my life
Agh thinking about it just makes me smile so hard I cry.
It was by far the best show I've ever seen, not to mention the best $5 I've ever spent.
The other bf is pretty hot too. Friday was 3 months :)

Blah, home from Boston.
The concert was good, although in some ways not really what I was expecting.
Ben Lee played for a few minutes &he was fun.
Then Ben Folds entered to the overture from Jesus Christ Superstar, priceless. He rocked. I love how you can tell how much he really loves to perform. He played a lot of new stuff, but only one song from BF5(One Angry Dwarf & 200 Solemn Faces), &it was probably the highlight. He ended with "Not the Same," & did this really cool thing with the harmonies afterwords. But when he got off the stage, & the lights pretty much immediately turned on, it was so.. un-fulfilling. And heart-breaking. I would have given anything for him to come back on the stage& play "Philosophy" or annnything. godddamn we deserved an encore! ugh. And it was rediculous because clearly almost everybody had come to see Ben Folds. yarr, I'm bitter. I hate being dissapointed.
I did enjoy Rufus Wainwright, with his seductive voice/hot bod. It was nice to just relax& listen to him after rocking out (even though the whole time I was wishing ben would come back). Rufus played "Hallelujah" and it was beautiful. He's really talented& extremely cute.
One of the best things about the concert was the setting. The venue was really cool, a huge tent deal that was open on the sides/back, which provided a view over the harbor of one of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen. There were planes taking off right over us &we also got an ocean breeze. It was a gorgeous night.

hey!
I think I'll actually update ferr once.
The cape last week was perfect& completely relaxing. I spent a lot of time at the ocean, lakes, and the bay, biked, canoed, shopped, went tubing on the ocean, lots of campfires& hammocking, minigolfed, went to the drive-in, cooed over babies, etcetcetc. Nickerson was amazing as always.
Since then I've just been working& hanging out. Exciting, right?
Tomorrow I'm off to boston with mike, dave, matt, colin, and kaitlin for BEN FOLDS. Agh I'm so psyched. Then plan is to spend the day in the city, go to the show, spend the night at jake bartfield's, then I guess improvise on saturday.
Then SATURDAY NIGHT is potentially the campout. Rob included(!!).
I've been slacking a lot with taking pictures. So, please excuse the lack of picture post. I'll make up for it this weekend I promise.

Man, this weekend has been awesome.
On Friday I worked until about 8 o'clock, which was surprisingly fun (minus being held down& stamped by craig &sam repeatedly with the bright red REPLACEMENT stamps).
After work, I attempted to get the stamps off, but just ended up with huge red smudges all over my arms and legs. Then I went to Tara's house. Since it was Drew's birthday we decided to go over there and spend some time with him. Then I slept at Tara's. It was a lot of fun; I always have such a good time with her, &I really feel like I learn a lot from her. We talked a lot &listened to some really good music &sang. Then she turned ghetto, &I died, & we went to sleep.
THE NEXT MORNING, after a wonderful breakfast I went home& did some stuff/ took a nap. Ryen called. It was really good to hear from her, summer is so different without her here. So then I got ready for the concert, Becca Young showed up, my mom picked up Molly M, &off we went.
Ahhhh the Dave Matthews Band concert was incredible. We got there around 5:30, picked out a good spot, and laid on the blanket in the sun on the most beautiful day in the world. People were literally flooding in for the next hour and a half. 45 thousand people supposedly were there. It was the third time in history SPAC has been sold out, first time for The Who& second time for Phish. By the time the music started, a group of about 20 other kids from bethlehem had found us, which was cool. The show was so good, there was so much energy& just, awesomeness. Even though I'm not a huge DMB fan, I completely enjoyed myself. It's kind of inspiring to see that many people so deep into the music. & when it was really dark&people took their lighters out, it was so magical just to look out over the sea of people. I can't even explain. & I really wouldn't have wanted to go with anyone else, it's so much fun to be with people who are really into it& just rocked out.
The concert made me completely psyched for Ben Folds in August. aasbfoiabrlam,sdkasnf.
Agh so. Becca &Molly "slept" over. We snuck out to the CA pool &just, had a good time. Those girls are incredible. Easily the best night I've had in forever. So we made it back to my house, after a minor scare, & literally talked until 6:30am. Just about everything. It felt really good to get that deep and just let stuff out.
Anyway, we got about two hours of sleep, then I had to go to church, then off to Walpole for a party. It wasn't super fun, but I had a good time. I had a lot of time to talk to Ellen& Amy, & chill with Luke. In hindsight, I wish I'd stayed the night with the Katuskas, or rather, been allowed to.
So now today, I woke up way late, &basically got ready then went to the neighborhood party. Then I realized that the only people there who were my age were Paul& Larry, who were both lifeguarding, so I talked to them briefly, ate a little, listened to Mike &Alec play for a little while, &came home. Basically, I suck at being social, hardcore.
